Henry

Steve is sure that Henry is going to be his racer. He says that he can already tell that Henry is going to want to race cars! Henry is a little Stevie for sure. Laid back, always pleasant, and charms the ladies!

Henry has a new trick. This makes Pappy so nervous. He holds his breath until Henry is back in Steve's arms. When Buzzy was little, Steve would "walk" him on our ceiling (turn him upside down and walk...). I guess this is going to be Henry's trick until he's long enough to get his feet on the ceiling!

Donuts

While Steve and I were working on the chicken coop - finally - MiMi and Buzzy were making homemade donuts! They were so good. So much for my diet! I will post pictures of our chicken condo with courtyard later. Steve and I haven't finished it yet, but it will be done today!

I can't believe he will be five months old tomorrow. It's going by way to quickly.

Halloween 2008

Our Halloween was full this year. Buzzy and Henry got lots of treats from family and friends. Buzzy's party was at school on Thursday, but I didn't get to go to it. I took Henry to the dr. for his 4 month check up. He weighed 17 lbs and is 26 1/2" long. he is in the 97 percentile for his age for his height and 85% on his weight!

Buzzy was Jeff Gordon again. He said this will be his last year as Jeff Gordon. Next year he says he will be Tony Stewart! He has it planned for the next four years. Tony Stewart, then Jimmie Johnson, then Jr., and then maybe Carl Edwards!!

We went down town on Friday to Trick or Treat. Daddy went with us this year. We went early, so Buzzy could go to the lake with MiMi and Pappybefore it was too late. Buzzy was upset because he didn't get to Trick or Treat with Chandler this year. He just got to have his picture taken with her. They were just getting there when we were leaving. Maybe next year.

Henry rolled over by himself for the first time on Wednesday. I videoed it, but I'm waiting for a better one to put on here. He is growing WAY too fast. Now you are up to date!

Playing Catch Up...

We have been so busy. Here is a little recap of what's been going on...

Went to Highland Rim to watch Daddy's first race there. It wasn't too redneck that night. Thank goodness!

This scarecrow asked if anyone had a song to sing while we were on the hay ride. Buzzy said he did and busted out Folsom Prison Blues! The scarecrow said that was a good song, but not quite what she had in mind! I stopped him after "I ain't seen the sunshine." He looked at me and with his silly voice said "Now that is a good song!"

After the Pumpkin Patch, we went to pick Henry up at NaNa's, and Buzzy headed straight for his climbing tree.

Why are the best pictures always blurry? Henry loves his NaNa.

Louisville Zoo

MiMi, Aunhee and I took the little one's to the zoo on Thursday. They had a great time. Henry liked the carousel. Buzzy was boogered by the Anaconda, and Lucas thought MiMi drove too fast!!

Steve pouted so much about his birthday, that Henry let him use his plug!

Happy Birthday, Stevie!

Steve's birthday came and went this year. It fell on Friday and he and I went to eat all by ourselves. He was afraid that I would make the waiters sing to him, but I didn't. The following Monday Steve, Henry and I met K and Tommy at El Bracero and, we had them sing to him! They even fed him his dessert!! I told him I would get him when he wasn't expecting it!! I am dreading my payback!

Fire Department

Buzzy's preschool class went to the CC Fire Dept on their first field trip of the year. Buzzy had a good time. Last year the fire truck came to them. We walked to the station this year, since it's just down the street from the school. Henry slept the whole time. Buzzy was worried that he would cry and make the firemen think the fire alarm was going off!

Three months

Since Henry has gotten a little more stable with his head, I have been trying just sitting him in the sink. He loves it! He splashes and makes a huge mess! He loves his Link-A doos too! He is most always such a happy boy!

We have been trying out the Bumbo seat for short stints. He likes it,but he gets tired. He's almost ready to sit in it all the time! I can't believe how quickly he is growing!

Best Uncle & Future Aunt Award Goes to....

Ryan And Regan. Steve's youngest brother and his girlfriend have been together off and on as long as Steve and I have been. They have come to two races this year, and Buzzy loves it when they come. I seriously think he would move in with Ryan if he got the chance!

It won't be too long until Ryan can ride on Buzzy's shoulders! Buzzy's crocs had a blow out and Ryan and Regan fixed them up for him! Of course, it had to be orange tape!

I don't know who likes who the most!

That's Horrendous

Steve and I were watching TV this evening when we heard what sounded like a firecracker. I thought it was the ice maker. Steve looked at me and said "What was that?" I wasn't too concerned. He got his goofy, guilty grin and said " I hope I didn't forget a coke in the freezer." I knew right then what he had done. He does it ALL THE TIME!! I will get ice and it will have brownish spots on it. At first I thought there was something wrong with our water, but then Steve confessed what was "wrong" with the ice. He is always putting hot cokes in the freezer to get them cold fast. Then he forgets them and this is what I find.

He opened the door before I got in there and said "That's horrendous." I cracked up! That's just not a word that he uses, so I knew it had to be bad!

Kate and Henry got to visit tonight. They were so cute sitting on the couch together!

Ky Wood Expo

We took Buzzy and Henry to the Ky Wood Expo in Madisonville today. He had a really good time looking at all the machinery. Steve and I had a good time visiting with all of our friends.

Waiting for MiMi

Buzzy really missed MiMi and Pappy when they were gone to the mountains. The day they came home, he kept asking me when they were going to be here. When it got to me saying "Anytime" he got his chair and set by the door waiting for them. He was SO excited when they got here.

Thats His Story

After a loud crash, I asked Buzzy what was going on? He came into the family room area in tears and told us this story.

"I was going in the kitchen to get a screwdriver and suddenly, I dropped the box and BAM, lite brites went everywhere."

I loved the "suddenly" and the BAM!

Update

This was the first time that he's ever had shoes on! I think he looks like he's going to get up and walk off! He looks so grown up, to me!

I have tried to feed Henry off and on since he was 3 weeks old. It would give him a belly ache and he wouldn't sleep good. So this week when I tried, he loved the carrots. I gave him his carrots Monday night before his bath. He went to bed around 10 or 1030 and didn't get up until.....6;30 the next morning. Last night was a repeat! I hope this is the beginning of a good thing! Buzzy didn't sleep all night until he was 2 1/2! We are getting to start much earlier this time, I hope!

If you look close in the top right hand corner of the above picture, you can see Buzzy sitting on the counter with a paper towel wrapped around his finger. He came into the office yesterday, holding his finger. He said " Momma, we have a bad band-aid situation here." I thought he meant he had lost his band-aid, but then he showed me his finger. He was spinning a saw blade out in the shop and it got his knuckle. It looks bad, but I think he learned his lesson. I asked if he was going to do it again. He said no, he will just spin the chains now. Wonder how long before a chain gets him? I told Steve the other night that it will be a miracle if Buzzy has all of his fingerrs by the time he's 10! He has three purple fingernails where he has mashed his finger. Two on one hand and one on the other. He is such a boy.

Still kicking!

This is what he does when he threatens a knuckle sandwich. Here he is offering two!

Henry was fussing - as usual! LeeAnn offered to hold him so I could wash up the bottles. When I went in the kitchen, she had one in each arm. When I came back, Kate had been pushed to the side! Funny thing is, she didn't care! She was happy looking at her hands and keeping her plug in her mouth!

His first bath in his tub! We have since gotten rid of the sponge! He LOVES his bath! That is usually what will get the fussing to stop! He loves the water - so different from his brother!

We are still here and well. Just been busy. Buzzy started back to school this week and I had to work a couple of half days this week. I'll be glad when our routine gets going a little better! I was a little frazzled at work on Tuesday. Henry was fussing and the phone kept ringing and I wanted to go out on the front porch and scream! That has been the only time since he's came that I have gotten frazzled! He's not going to be a co-worker often, and he was a much better assistant today! Steve was there to help when the phone would ring, so today went much smoother!

I haven't posted any pictures of Henry lately. Since our vacation post had mostly pictures of Buzzy, I don't feel guilty not including one of him in this post. If you haven't noticed, I try to keep the pictures even! Don't want to show favoritism!
