The end of a good thing

Rookie league is winding down for the season. Basketball will be starting soon. Buzzy has loved Rookie League. He has improved so much and I can't wait to see how he does in the spring. He missed school on Monday due to an ear infection. Cooper's mom had invited him to their house after school on Tuesday, so he was going to school even if he was comatose! Since she was the one that diagnosed him and confirmed that he was still coming home with them, I felt he was safe to attend school! He tried to convince her to let him stay with her at her office and just go home with her from there! Such a salesman!

He knew that if he missed school, not only would he not get to go to Coopers, but he also wouldn't get to play ball or receive his trophy!

Mom & I went to a scrapbook convention last weekend. We had a great time! I did anyway!

Mimi really did have a good time! She has discovered that scrapbooking is fun, especially when you have specific instructions telling you what to do!!

Labor Day

On Labor Day, the Fogle's invited us to a Bowling Green Hot Rods game. Buzzy went with them and Steve and I went later on. None of the Ashley family had been to one of the Hot Rods games and we all loved it. Unfortunately, it was the last game of the season, so we will have to wait until next year to go again. Buzzy and Cooper were a little hot, so they visited the gift shop to cool off. Just as we were getting ready to go back to our seats, Axle the mascot came out. I was excited to get their picture with him. Not sure if they were as excited as me!

Happy Birthday Pappy!

We took Pappy to Patti's for his birthday. We haven't went anywhere altogether in quite sometime. We all had such a good time enjoying each other and the yummy food!

It is impossible to get a picture with everyone smiling, eyes open, being still. Sorry MiMi, you look good except for your eyes being closed!
